Custom Tattoos 

Kelsi's custom tattoo service offers a personalized experience for clients who want a truly unique and meaningful tattoo. During a private consultation, either in-person or over zoom, you can plan out your design ideas to ensure your vision is brought to life by collaborating with Kelsi to create a one-of-a-kind tattoo that you'll love.

Current tattoo rate is $225/hour 

$100 deposit required to book an appointment

Booking Instructions 

If my books are open I will select the projects that are the best match to my style & design preferences. Please make sure to read the "Priority Projects" section below to increase your chances of getting tattooed. 

 

Due to a large volume of requests I can only take on a handful of clients each round. I often don't get the chance to read every request, and have to pass on many projects I would love to do. Please don't feel rejected if you are not chosen after your first submission. I may be interested in your tattoo idea and hope you'll to submit again when I have more space in my schedule! 

 

What to include in your submission

​

  • A clear and succinct description of the design you're interested in, and general size/placement you would like. 

  • References or photos of tattoos I've done that are relevant to your idea

  • If your tattoo will be on an area of your body that is already tattooed or near other tattoos, a photo of your placement area is helpful

  • Please refrain from trauma dumping or going into detail of the meaning behind your tattoo idea, as I prefer to learn the story behind your design when we meet in-person.

How to submit a request  

​

After reading the "Priority Projects" section and making sure that my booking status is open, you can fill out the design request form on the Altar website Here.

 

Please keep in mind that if you submit a form outside of my open booking dates it may be automatically rejected, and you'll need to submit another form during the next round to be considered. 

Priority Projects

​

  • Medium and Large sized-tattoos (4-inches and above) 

  • Animals, Insects and Aquatic Creatures 

  • Flowers & Plants, Botanical elements 

  • Magical, Mythological, Spiritual, Fantasy or Occult related designs 

  • Scientific or Biological designs 

  • Household and inanimate objects (Example: Furniture, Kitchen Gadgets, etc.)

  • Designs that include other elements besides just floral arrangements 

  • Linework focus / etching / stippling details

WHAT I WON'T TATTOO: 

  • Head / Face or Fingers

  • Script / text

  • Full-color

  • Cover-ups

  • Mandalas / Sacred Geometry / Tribal artwork 

  • Other artists work (unless YOU are the original artist, or if you have been given written permission from the original artist)

  • Cultural designs, symbols or motifs on clients that don't belong to that culture.

Pricing and Payment Info 

For both custom and flash tattoos, my current rate is $225/hour, and a $100 deposit is required to book an appointment. (Your deposit will be deducted from your final tattoo cost when it is complete. See FAQ for deposit policies.)

 

Some extra large designs may be subject to an additional drawing fee, such as full arm or leg sleeves or back pieces.

I will do my best to give you a price & time estimate during your consultation after we discuss the details of your tattoo. Please bear in mind that an estimate is just that; your tattoo may take more or less time than anticipated. While I will do absolute best to predict how much time your tattoo will take, everyone's skin is unique and tattoo time can vary greatly from person-to-person.

Forms of Payment 

 

For your actual tattoo appointment, cash is Queen!

 

I can also accept credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, or PayPal transactions for an additional fee. Please note that the current Washington State sales tax rate will be added to all transactions.

Deposits are generally paid via a secure Square link, however if you are booking your appointment in-person, I can accept any forms of payment mentioned above.
